HOMELESSNESS IS NOT HELPLESS OR HOPELESS.
YOU BRING THE HOPE AND WE WILL SUPPLY THE HELP AND HOME.

NOVEMBER IS NATIONAL HOMELESS YOUTH AWARENESS MONTH

Children In Need of Hugs, (C.I.N.O.H), Presents its Second Annual Homeless Youth Awareness Conference November 12-15, 2008 at the Hilton Garden Inn Fairfield, California.

For just $75 you will be able to contribute to a good cause and be able to attend a three day workshop which includes food and you will enjoy hearing from speakers from the East Coast such as:

  • Rashida Jolley, a national motivational speaker and recording artist;
  •   Shemille Brown, LCSW-C, Therapist and Training Consultant,  will present the following training "How to Engage Difficult Youth" and "Engaging Youth at their Developmental Level";
  • DeLagance the Noted Poet, www.delegancepromotions.com;
  • Youth Panel/Positive Youth Development;
  • Housing Options/Health Services;

Funds raised from this event will help CINOH to expand it services to provide street outreach and all around supportive services for homeless youth in Solano County.

If you are interested in sponsoring, setting up exhibits and/or media coverage  do not hesitate to contact Lorraine Hargrave, CEO at Hargrave@cinoh.org

Every Year Children In Need of Hugs has a Mother's Day Event which includes residents who have graduated from the program and current residents. "> Mother's Day Event 08

Our events are sponsored by individual donations. CINOH'S aftercare for its residents has no time line.
We are here for our residents for as long as they need us.

It's so important for our clients to have support during and after their transition.
